Nigerians though.

Look, i dey para mode now, so biko allow, just allow.
Some Nigerians living in the United States can be so simple minded i swear. You say you have "assets" in Nigeria, so why the hell are you dragging jobs with we wey no get"assets". Brag upandan, bunch of empty barrels, we beat each other down and are super beastly to each other but treat other races like human beings. This is why Nigeria as a nation cannot grow, because even in a foreign country we are demonic to each other. Look, nobody f*****g cares what type of car you drive or what kind of house you live in, as long as you pay your damn taxes and your freaking bills, Nobody send u! Even if you are a boss at your workplace , you go out to the coffee shop and meet a freaking queue, you line the hell up and Shut the f**k up because nobody wants to hear you talk about who you are, everybody just wants to get a damn coffee and keep it moving,

You carry yasef come yankee dey find who go dey ansa you Madam or Oga sir, Na beta bomb dey ya head for dere. U better go and buy yourself a slave because ain't nobody gat time for that. You earn respect you don't demand for it. You behave like Namma, you get treated like a Namma, you behave like a person, you get treated like a person, its just common sense, not rocket science. You go carry yourself go Naija, then start treating the people there hustling and hailing you like vermin, forgetting that its from this Vermin filled streets that ya fore fathers were raised, even though some of ya'll were born in the states. Sometimes just act human na, Sometimes act like you have the fear of God in you, Sometimes just don't be an eye service church goer, nobody is marking attendance, na God dey look your mind. You cannot be treating the person helping you at home like a piece of rag, then enter church to worship Jesus, Nne, you are worse that Satan because you have no fear, if i be Jesus, i go smite u! hian!

I read an article some weeks ago about a beastly Nigerian couple that got a human being with bones and blood to the states and were treating the human being like a Dog, all because the person no get kpali a.k.a Green card. Can you see how demon possessed we are. A lady i met sometime ago told me about how she has been a Nanny for 15 years and had worked for Nigerians earlier who used to bully her and maltreat her and call her names, until she met a white couple who took her in and made her part of their family and paid her real good, even after getting her green card, she chose to stay on because she had been shown so much Love and that helped her become so loyal to the family and to treat the kids like her own. And as she was talking to me, i became so pissed, like why must we always act like Bastards to each other? Why? Just Why? It bothers me for real, i get so mad thinking about it. Later, when the person becomes in a better position to help and refuses to help u, you go dey call God. Like my Aunt "I" always sings in an igbo choir voice to encourage me when stuff is getting out of control " No Condition is Permanent"x3. Loool

All these billionaires that give out part of their wealth to charity, do you think they don't know what they are doing?  They do, they have probably discovered the secret to this life. Its all about what good you did while you were still alive, who did you help? What impact your existence had on Earth, deep questions like that, but noooo, a Nigerian will keep making all that money, then spend it like a barbarian, the make some more, spend some more, show off, be recognized, be well known, be popular. Do good and announce it so that everybody will hail them. We forget that Man must to die one day, and wen u do, they will fling u inside casket or wrap u inside cloth and mat and throw u in d ground, if ya lucky, u fit get small makeup for face, make you no reach heaven scare Jesus or even hell, i judge not, if you are too rich, you fit get some small jewellery for your body which grave robbers will eventually take anyways, but na the same ground you go dey, become news for sometime and be gone just like that. So wetin come be the point biko? Why can't we be more compassionate??? Be nicer to each other, help each other grow, Take in a fellow Nigerian who just came into the states, without that fellow Nigerian sef becoming a thorn in ya flesh. Tufiakwa!  Help each other, promote each others businesses, stop hating, stop helping ya friend calculate how much he/she makes in a month, U dey crase ni? stop comparing rides and talking about how the people driving Range Rover in your sub division are in a  "Range Rover owners" club, are u smoking crack?

Even in Nigerian churches in the United states, our inferiority complex is through the roof, you would enter some churches and feel like you just walked into a fashion show, forget that we dress nice, the hidden hatred for the next person beside you because her bag is designer or because you can see his key ring and it looks like its a Beemer or a Benz is baffling. I visited a Purely Nigerian Church in Atlanta, and i was amazed at something very weird that happened. The Pastor called out couples having their birthdays to step out with their spouse. One unassuming couple stepped out, the man wore an over-sized suit and was quite vertically challenged and the woman looked very quaint in a Nice flowery gown and it was her birthday anyway. The Pastor then asked the man to give his wife a birthday toast, he started out by saying how lucky he was to have her yada yada yada and all that mushy stuff that couples say to each other only when people are listening, then bruh, he went on to say how he can't believe he has a brand new Honda 2015 pilot, tear rubber fully paid for because of his wife, i was confused, like, okay dude, its time to pass on the microphone, it didn't end there o, he then went on to describe his other car and the nice area where they just bought a house, i was baffled, i wanted to throw my shoe at him for being so ridiculous, and then he finished his at this point very irritating speech and his wife said two sentences and they gave each other a very dead kiss, and the whole place erupted with a very huge applause, i became weak, like seriously, are u guys shitting me? then i made a mental not to myself never to step foot into that Fashion house...sorry Church again. Why are we so Extra??? Did the whole Fashion...sorry Church need to know all that Info??? Lawd!!!

The crazy part is when you're out maybe in the mall or something and you spot a fellow Nigerian and try to smile or start up a conversation with them, you can tell, they are also wary of you  because we know ourselves and how beastly we are to each other. I once met a Nigerian lady who doesn't mix with Nigerians because she has been messed up so many times by Nigerians, so for her its just a safety precaution. When i met her, she didn't believe i was Nigerian too, when she finally believed me, she kept acting as if i wanted something from her, this attitude started to irritate me so i let that friendship die a natural death, but i really don't blame her, a couple of bad experiences has taught her to be wiser. I have calmed down now but i'm still perplexed at we Nigerians as a whole. I can go on and on about experiences i have had, i have heard about and i have witnessed relating with Nigerians over here in the States. Na God go save us o. Biko someone still needs to tell me Why we are the way we are? Just WHY?

Its Valentine's Day!!!

Its Valentine's Day! *yaaaaay* Before you start rejoicing there, what is  Valentine's Day? Well, according to Wikipedia, Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is an annual Holiday celebrated on February 14. It originated as a Western Christian Liturgical Feast day honoring one or more early saints named Valentinus, and is recognized as a significant cultural and commercial celebration in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country. Why can't it be like every other day? Don't worry, i wont bore you with all that talk about Valentine's Day being everyday of the year, get over yourself, It can't be everyday, Its on the 14th of February every year, Deal with it! Lol.

I'm just wondering though, why some people generally, in relationships, or marriages or just people,  would be nice to each other on Val's Day and then after all that Serenre (unnecessary ceremony) they will continue behaving like evil spirits for the rest of the year until Christmas, I just don't gerrit. Why can't we show Love to each other everyday of the year and then maybe on Valentine's Day, make it extra special, i mean that sounds about right. I'm just saying thought, don't bite my head off. hehehe.

As for Le Single folk out there who are going to be on the couch watching, Netflix or African Magic Yoruba, or even Porn on Val's Day, Look around you and show Love to somebody close to you e.g your bottle of Vodka, your bottle of wine, e.t.c just kidding. I mean your family, neighbors, colleagues e.t..c (those of ya'll watching porn keep ya filthy hands to yaself, nasty individual) and if you feel like sharing a kiss, feel free to *In Bruno Mar's voice*"Kiss yourself cos you're so pretty" because its the Season of Love People.

And for Le Married Folk who will choose Val's Day as an opportunity to start dishing out some unwanted advice to their Single friends about how being Single is affecting their existence and is a scourge on the earth, Biko (please), know that God's time is the Best and Face ya marriage. Remember that Marriage is a Forever Affair, you've probably just been in it for less than a year or 2, 3 years, Please ehn, sit tight and maintain ya lane because i don't know who died and made you the Advocate for the Federation of Single People in Africa and the World?

And Lastly, for those Newly married folk that cut off their friends just because the said friend is still single, I really think you should pray o. PRAY that your married pregnant friends won't cut you off just because you still never get bele (pregnancy), also PRAY that your friends with 5 year old kids won't cut you off just because your kids are less than 2 years old, also PRAY that your friends with kids in High school and College won't cut you off, just because your kids are still in Elementary School, also PRAY that your friends turning 40 won't cut you off just because you're not yet 40, also PRAY that your menopausal/ mid-life crisis friends won't cut you off just because you never hit menopause/midlife crisis and the you should finally PRAY that your friends that are dying in old age won't cut you off just because you never die yet.

I Love you all and Happy Valentine's Day.

DISCLAIMER: This might be a bit Ironic but i'll just get on with it anyway. If you or persons you may know feel that you are being directly or indirectly addressed in this post, then i Apologize that you or persons you may know would have to feel that way but there is no need to be "Catching Feelings" because there are 7 Billion People in the world so I am more than likely not referring to YOU. But honestly though Some of ya'll need some Jesus in your Lives. Hian!

You know those random thoughts that creep into your mind sometimes, yep! that is still YOU!

Hey there guys, girls, ladies, aliens, people, spirits reading this right now. This is going to be a very short introductory post so here it goes.

My name is Vivian and I am a human being. That's it! End of post.

Just kidding...So its me, Vivian, I am a female, Born in the 90's, 5 feet 11 inches tall, Team Curvy and dark skinned. I am a proud Nigerian who had chosen to run away from home because "le struggle odikwa real". This blog is about ME needing an outlet so that my mind doesn't explode (No, I do not have a problem, I'm about as normal as the next person... the next Nigerian).

You see, the human mind is very special, there's that thing up there in our heads that truly defines who we are, there's that part where our talents lie, there's that part where our moral convictions lie, there's that part where our sanity lies and then there's the special part which contains "The random thoughts".  These thoughts can be triggered by anything: Staring at an object, getting pissed off by a Loved One, Looking at your Boss or co-worker e.t.c, they are perfectly normal and part of being human. How we handle them is what tells each of us apart (see what i did there?) I simply choose to air mine out and at the same time, write about any other thing i choose to.
I hope you enjoyed this "Very Short Post" and i shall see you *insert what you are* later.
